When time becomes precious, the small and large heartfelt moments matter even more. With a donation of €1,000, JOPP supports the Hospizverein Rhön-Grabfeld e.V. and its initiative “Before I die – I want to…”, which encourages people to reflect on death and their own mortality.

The donation comes in a very special year: the Hospizverein Rhön-Grabfeld is celebrating its 25th anniversary. For a quarter of a century, the organization has been supporting seriously ill and terminally ill people in their final stage of life – with dignity, compassion, and tremendous volunteer commitment.

During the handover, JOPP Managing Directors Martin Büchs and Richard Diem presented the donation check to Richard Knaier, Chairman of the Hospizverein, and Helga Sterzinger, Treasurer of the association. They emphasized the importance of this work:

“It is truly impressive how the Hospizverein Rhön-Grabfeld, with so much dedication, brings comfort, closeness, and even joy to patients and their families during difficult times. Fulfilling a final wish can create memories that last a lifetime.”

The donation will be fully used for the “Before I die” initiative, which encourages people in public spaces such as pedestrian zones to reflect on their own life and mortality.

For 25 years, the Hospizverein Rhön-Grabfeld has been supporting seriously ill and dying people as well as their families through outpatient hospice services, personal accompaniment, counseling, and grief support – making an indispensable contribution to humanity and dignity at the end of life in the region.
