The JOPP Group is building a new production and development site for the business sector "Electronics" in the industrial area "Auf Herdenen" in Villingen-Schwenningen.

At present, the JOPP Group employs about 90 employees at the Black Forest sites of Jopp Electronics GmbH in Rottweil-Neufra and VES GmbH in St. Georgen. As an integrated system provider, the business sector Electronics offers development services and EMS services up to supplementary added value like component assembly with final testing in the test laboratory. Customers are from the automotive industry as well as from medical and industrial engineering. The business sector works as per the standards of ISO 26262, ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949.

At the new company site, there will be around 5,000 m² of production and administration space. This is where the two electronics service providers of the JOPP Group, the Jopp Electronics GmbH (previous company site at Rottweil-Neufra) and the VES GmbH (previous company site at St. Georgen) will work together after completion in 2017. The building will meet the latest energetic standards.

The JOPP Group has plans for considerable growth in the business sector Electronics. The grounds which are around 12,000 m², offer possibilities for a later expansion. On account of the growing order position the company assumes that in the medium term, there will be further new jobs at the company site in Villingen-Schwenningen, both in development and the industrial sector.
