Even in complicated times, the automotive supplier JOPP is still continuing to promote young talent. JOPP is employing four technical trainees and one dual student at the start of the new apprenticeship year: Simon Glaser (Bachelor of Engineering Vehicle Electronics and Mechatronic Systems); Dominik Kremer (Cutting Machine Operator); Luca Schäfer (Mechatronics Engineer); Moritz Hübner (Industrial Mechanic); Julian Schmitt (Industrial Mechanic).
The new trainees and the student were warmly welcomed on Tuesday morning by the training managers Sandra Schön (business people) and Alexander Bell (metalworking trades), Klaus Gottwalt (electrical engineering), Otto Katzenberger (Jopp Automotive Works Council), Richard Diem (Managing Director JOPP Group) and Joachim Schmutz (Managing Director Jopp Automotive GmbH). The introduction was followed by a factory tour of the three plants in Bad Neustadt. This gave them a first impression of the company and their future workplace.
The tour ended for the industrial trainees in the training workshop, where they will learn basic training contents such as drilling, deburring, milling and the handling of turning machines over the next few months, in order to be able to work in the specialist departments later.
Throughout the entire training period, JOPP provides extensive company-specific know-how and creates a high level of identification with the company as well as an understanding of operational issues. The company ensures its productivity, innovative strength and competitiveness by training qualified junior staff in-house. When selecting trainees, the company responds specifically to the corresponding requirements of the specialist departments.
JOPP currently employs 32 trainees. The application process for the training year 2021 has been in progress since July 2020.
