The quality management system (QMS) has a longstanding tradition at JOPP. Certification according to ISO 9001, QS 9000 and VDA 6.1 was achieved in 1998. In the same year, the QMS was extended by the environmental management system which was certified in 2001. The CAQ system comprises all areas and tasks of the quality management system. JOPP sees quality assurance as a task of all employees. Internal and external audits ensure that the standards are met by JOPP as well as by its suppliers.

The thorough selection and evaluation of suppliers ensures that only qualified materials come into process. Perpetual training of all employees enhances their qualifications and contributes to a continuous process of improvement. Quality planning, FMEA, computer-aided test planning, measurement systems management, machine ability check, machine acceptance protocol, SPC, traceability, first in/first out and other components are key factors for success.
