JOPP has a long tradition in development. In the early years JOPP was successful with products for the alimentation industry and for manufacturing technology, e.g. CNC precision lathes. In recent years JOPP successfully transformed its development operations to the automotive industry and intensified them.

All new development methods are used:

JOPP has flexible test facilities for trials and life tests in a test climate. Development focuses on mechanics and its competence for electronic integration has been repeatedly proved with success.

The development of production facilities is a vital aspect in competitiveness.In accordance to the motto: „Everybody`s machine is nobody`s machine“ production and testing machines are developed for own production.The well-equipped construction of tools, machines, jigs, fixtures and models guarantees short development times and a quick start of series production. Own capacities for the development and construction of electronic machine and device controls provide substantial support for product development as well.

 

JOPP designed and developed the Switchtronic and integrated it into a series-production vehicle. This shifter gives new ideas for the development of Shift-by-Wire.
